San Francisco Fishing report 05/22/16

Hey Fishermen,

Here is a quick update; 3 days ago we got our butt handed to us. The weatherman was a little off. I had ½ day trip fishing for halibut and bass using live anchovies. The winds were brutal but we did manage to land a halibut. If I new the winds were going to be that bad I would have canceled the trip. The next day Flash I and Flash II both had full day trips. The winds were down and the fishing was good. I beat the kid, Captain Jonathon. He ended with 9 fish for his fishermen and we ended with 12. On my trip Jim Graham landed his very first halibut and a very nice limit of bass. Today Captain Jonathon got his revenge. We both had ½ day trips. He had 9 fish for his fishermen and I had 5 fish for my 4 fishermen. We both lost some good fish and had many shakers. Steady action for out ½ day trips. Most of our fish came from the Berkeley flats. The next opening I have is on Wednesday the 25th. This is a full day live bait trip. We may even go for some rockfish. There are a lot of fish to be had! Call me on the boat phone if you would like to jump on. 510 851-2500. Enjoy the photos.
