I am back from the mountains and had a great time.Both boats have been running while I was gone. For the most part they were fishing rock fish and ling cod.I ran Flash II yesterday. We did 2 half day trips and is was good fishing. The morning trip we had 6 limits by 10:20 am. That included some very large sea trout (greenling) and 2 nice lingcod. The afternoon trip was also great with a large cabazon and nice lingcod. Some of the blacks were in the 3 lb class. We had a blue that was close to 4 lbs. We were fishing up the north coast. The sturgeon fishing is going very well up near Pittsburg. We are moving Flash I tomorrow to fish sturgeon and bass out of Pittsburg. I will keep Flash II at Fishermans Wharf to finish the rock fish season and then sturgeon and bass in San Pablo bay.
