San Francisco Fishing Report 3/13/17

Hey Fishermen,

I just did 3 sturgeon trips in a row. The first 2 trips were tough. We had no problem finding fish and I have to say we have a lot of fish in our system. I believe we have more fish in are area that I have seen in a while. We had some opportunities but we just could not land any fish. On the third trip we were able to hook a couple. One was just short and one was over. Eric battled his very first sturgeon for nearly 30 minutes. After the battled he had landed a 67.5 inch sturgeon. The overall length was 78 inches. After some quick photos 3 of us lifted her back in the water. The water temperature keeps rising and was 56 degrees during the last trip. The fish should bust open any day soon. I have just a few openings during the rest of this month. Enjoy the photos.
